Organisation

The CUCW is an umbrella organisation for more than 100 member organisations. Its supreme decision-making body is the General Assembly, held twice a year. Responsibility for managing CUCW's business lies with the Board, assisted by the Executive Committee.

The management group consists of the Chief Executive Officer, the Programme Director and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.

The activities of the Central Union of Child Welfare are financed by the Children´s Day Foundation and the Finnish Slot Machine Association (RAY). The Children´s Day Foundation was founded in 1950 by six child welfare organisations and it maintains the Linnanmäki Amusement park in Helsinki. Other important sources of income are the annual child welfare conferences and Lapsen Maailma magazine.
