Information on child welfare in various languages
Lastensuojelu.info is an online service with information designed for immigrants concerning child welfare, how it works and what is the legislation behind it. The service is available in ten languages and in audio files. The languages are Finnish, English, Swedish, French, Plain Finnish, Russian, Somali, Arabic, Persian and Kurdish.
The website also offers real life stories that tell about the kind of situations in which immigrant families have received help from child welfare. The service is particularly aimed at immigrant parents and the professionals working with them. The project is supported by the Finland’s Slot Machine Association, RAY
